As of 29/03/2020, Singapore has three fatalities. Our latest fatality was a 70 year-old Singaporean male (citizen of Singapore) who developed severe complications after 27 days in the intensive care unit (ICU). He later succumbed to the Coronavirus. He had a history of hypertension (high blood pressure) and hyperlipidaemia (high levels of cholestrol in the body).
The MOH and SGH are providing the family with all necessary assistance and we all send our deepest condolences and extend sympathy to the family. This is the third death due to Covid-19 and it really highlights the fact that we all have to be socially responsible to limit the spread of the virus to those who are more susceptible (ie. the Seniors). Please comply with stay-home notices, stay home if you are even remotely ill and limit your exposure to others and the outside. #SGUnited #SGStrong
