Singapore has now implemented many new preventive measures to slow the spread and transmission rates of the Covid'19 Virus in Singapore. As of 2359 on 23/03/2020, Singapore will have new tightened border control measures:
(1) No more short-term visitors will be able to enter the borders of Singapore for anything (no transit nor entry for short-term visitors)
(2) For Singaporean Residents/long-term pass holders:
there will be a 14 day SHN (stay-home notice) issued if they have travelled to/from any nation within the last two weeks;
if the Singaporean Resident/long-term pass holder has travelled to the Hubei Province (the source of the Covid'19) or Mainland China, they will be placed into a two week long quarantine in order to ensure that they are not hosts of the virus.
